ONLINE TRAINING MODULE
Volunteer Screening and Training
BMF implement a strict application process that all volunteers must complete and achieve a 100% competency to be considered to represent BMF onsite at events. This process starts with an online training module where volunteers are made to watch product demonstrations, educational videos, read the BMF disclaimers, read the VIC/NSW road safety guidelines and then complete a series of multiple-choice questions to ensure they have understood the content and material in preparation for applying this knowledge practically in the field of duty.
All applicants are also required to sign a one page legal document outlining BMF’s terms and conditions, expectations, and rules and guidelines for the volunteer role.
Staff Induction Meeting
Once all online training certificates have been issued and signed-off on, BMF host a compulsory meeting to meet and greet each volunteer and deliver a 40 minute hands-on role-play demonstration where applicants get the opportunity to see the testing process step-by-step. Scripts for each role within the testing process is explained so that testing protocol is adhered to on a consistent basis. This is followed by a Q&A session.
